This was evident yet again in November 2024, when we voluntarily invited the Road Haulage Association (RHA) to conduct an audit. As many of you know, the RHA is highly regarded by the Traffic Commissioner and DVSA, particularly in Public Enquiry situations where their input helps shape improvement plans.
Given our last DVSA audit was in May 2022, we saw this as an ideal opportunity to benchmark ourselves. It’s worth noting that no other business has previously volunteered for an RHA audit. This bold move, where results are transparently shared with the DVSA and beyond our control, was both a courageous and nerve-wracking decision.
The audit evaluated us across five critical objectives:
Each objective involved a thorough examination of our operations, measured against the DVSA Recognition Scheme Standards, a challenging benchmark achievable only through consistent teamwork and a shared commitment to excellence.
We are proud to share our success, which reflects the high standards we maintain across the board. This success would not be possible without all our employee’s dedication, from our Drivers, Field operators, or Office Staff members. The collective efforts continue to enhance our brand, capability, and reputation, reinforcing our standing as a GREEN Operator in the DVSA traffic light system. While this is a commendable achievement, we will strive toward the next level of excellence, the DVSA Recognition Scheme, setting the tone for an even more successful 2025.
